The main challenge I faced with this project was to ensure the unit would not fall over when the top is fully extended therefore using SOLIDWORKS Simulation I was able to work out how much, if any, of the unit top would deform when fully extended and analyse if the centre of mass would need adjustment. Rather than reinventing the wheel I was able to download standard drawer slides from a 3D library which imported into the SOLIDWORKS Assembly to check the fit using off the shelf components.* E' z- X; y" S0 b* H( X
這個(gè)項(xiàng)目的挑戰(zhàn)是確保影音臺(tái)的頂部完全拉伸出來(lái)時(shí),，不會(huì)傾翻。所以使用solidworks simulation計(jì)算變形量,。而且可以從3D庫(kù)中拖拉出合適的抽屜滑軌導(dǎo)入到solidworks裝配體中進(jìn)行驗(yàn)證,。

As part of the design brief I wanted the shelves to be adjustable in order to allow media equipment such as a Freeview/satellite box and more importantly a Sonos Play 5 to be able to fit within the unit, with the help of SOLIDWORKS I was able to check the fit of the components when assembled.

I consulted Andy Fitzgerald, a freelance Cabinet Maker & Furniture Designer, who advised me on a couple of design tweaks which made it more cost effective and simplistic to build and operate – the benefits of using SOLIDWORKS meant I could do this quickly and easily without building any prototypes, saving time and money. We agreed a design and Andy bought it to life, manufacturing the table primarily in fibreboard and solid maple sprayed white with polyurethane lacquer to a satin finish.% w" e; O) a7 a! K' G s

用simulation關(guān)鍵是材質(zhì)的參數(shù),。有這個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)比較好檢驗(yàn)

solidoworks的simulation完全是傻瓜式的,，看軟件自帶教程即可

有人問(wèn)到教程，家具設(shè)計(jì)較之機(jī)械設(shè)計(jì)而言,，簡(jiǎn)單多了,，因?yàn)闆](méi)有公差要求，而且尺寸單位是厘米,，在家具設(shè)計(jì)中,，顏色與花紋是重要的，而相對(duì)運(yùn)動(dòng)則基本不考慮,。所以用solidworks作家具,，一般不先用裝配體，而在零件環(huán)境下使用多實(shí)體作先期效果圖,，這樣便于修改,，一旦定方案了，則由多實(shí)體零件變裝配體,，為什么要變裝配體呢,，因?yàn)橐鯞OM表,，作下料匯總，還有生產(chǎn)圖,。' t9 _5 | B: f' O3 S
